I am a 20-year industry veteran of the PEO/benefits landscape, having sold for several PEOs over my career – the first being in 2005 with ADP TotalSource®. I am also one of the few PEO brokers who is not only licensed as a life & health agent, but who also served as an employee benefits consultant with USI® for four years. Comparing and contrasting the intricacies of the PEO master medical plans along with open market plans can be a complex and confusing process for many, and a deep-dive analysis on employee benefits has been my expertise and passion for many years. It is what differentiates me.

I decided to open my own PEO brokerage consulting firm because I realized that direct PEO sales reps cannot be true advisors when they are tied to only one PEO – many situations felt like forcing a round peg into a square hole. In order to be a true consultant, one must be agnostic and not shackled by the restrictions of any one PEO.

Unique and challenging circumstances abound in the benefits marketplace: low participation, high claims, high MLRs, pre-existing conditions, carrier preferences, ACA requirements, class/management carve outs, MEC plan options, employer contribution challenges, low plan utilization, and limited plan options – just to name a few. And these issues are just on the medical/benefits front. Then there are other PEO issues like technology/HRIS requirements, HR support areas, workers compensation/risk challenges, multi-state regulatory compliance, state unemployment/taxes, 401k, time & attendance, performance management, applicant tracking, and recruiting. It all adds up to making the PEO shopping process a very tricky one with many moving parts that is constantly evolving. I protect you from those unpleasant high-pressure sales tactics so you can work through the process at your own pace on your own timeline, not in accordance with the PEO’s sales quotas and month-end deadlines. I stiff-arm the outside world so you can operate in peace on your own accord.

One of the best parts of working with me is that my services are 100% free to you. I am solely compensated by the PEOs I partner with. Your company also gets some of the best PEO admin fee pricing by working through me, as not only do I get a discount from my partner PEOs due to the number of proposals I request from them, but the mere fact that I’m requesting the quote tells the PEO that this is an ultra-competitive situation that requires the utmost pencil sharpening.
